New Year's Eve Hotel Deals - Availability Galore

Merry Christmas again! I ran the FareIndex for Mobissimo Hotels from 30 December to 2 January and, well, the prices are roughly the same. I could post the difference on the one fare, which was New York, it's now $3 more expensive to stay the night in the same hotel in Parsippany. Why? Don't ask why, just go and enjoy. I think the take away lesson from this is that there is still availability in all the New Year's Eve destinations for hotels, with the exception of Cabo San Lucas. Apparently there is a tank top and Oakley convention during New Year's and bookings are now hard to come by. Go figure.
