Wednesday, August 29. 2007The Ultimate Trip Planner is not Your Computer - 'Where to Go When:' is Your SolutionSo you're most likely browsing travel sites, reading tons of content to plan your next trip. One person's Shangri-La is another person's Detroit, plus those strange rating systems? Not very helpful to me. Go old school, read a book ... or at least look at the pictures.

You can travel to Cuba but only with certain approved tour/work/works groups that have special permission. Otherwise, you're out of luck when they stamp page 11 in Havana.
Of course you can always fly through Canada and then to Havana or Varadero via a great Canadian supplier that only Mobissimo searches - Flight Network. Castro's still there, but perhaps not for long, check flights now. Thursday, August 16. 2007Cheap Hidden Routes on Mobissimo? "Before the flight, guests would get 8 weeks of intensive training at a space camp on a tropical island." Wednesday, August 8. 2007Virgin America first flights in the US today - the IM frenzy for passengers![]() Today Virgin America started its operations with inaugural flights from New York's John F. Kennedy International and Los Angeles International Airport to its US home base in ... of course ourhometwon, San Francisco. And in case you've been in a coma the last few months, Virgin America is simply a travelers delight! Brand new airplanes, TV screens in each seat, music, food whenever you want, mood lighting in the cabin, power plugs for your laptops, I-Pods, I -Phone and other I-things. We think there may be Go-Go dancers, a flying trapeze act, and a full Broadway show replete with costumes and singing on each and every flight. But that's not confirmed yet. Oh, and did we mention Virgin America might be the world's highest singles bar? How many times has this happened to you? A really good looking guy/gal/person of ambiguous gender entered the plane, and your heart dropped and rolled down to the emergency row? Remember that? No? Neither do we because we know all the good looking people fly 1st Class. But that's besides the point. With Virgin you can IM the mystery guy/gal/person of ambiguous gender that doesn't exist. Imagine this, if you please: Hi there, lovely. A drink in the back of the airplane with Mobistalker at 22 H? You wanted it, maybe, and Virgin America made it happen! Matches, literally made in heaven. But most importantly, lets not forget the low, low fares! Flights from San Francisco to LA for $44 (coach) and $149 (first class). New York to Los Angeles for $129 (coach) and $389 (first class) Flights between New York and Los Angeles will start August 29. Followed by San Diego, Las Vegas and Washington. So, vite, to your laptops to book a flight. And see you soon via IM on Virgin America flights! And don't be surprised when MobiStalker wants to buy you a drink. Chelsea, most likely you need a place to sleep. You could stay at the Y for $120 or for $625 you can hang at the Hotel Gansevoort. A great semi-boutique hotel in the Meat Packing district, the Gansevoort has all the amenties needed for summer fun. Rooftop deck with pool? Rooftop bar with loungey sitting on thingies? Spa and exclusive lounge area below? Japanese style adjacent restaurant? Check to all of those. You can usually get a really good rate, i.e. $300 per night through Tablet Hotels, which Mobissimo will shortly search. Give it a shot, until then,
