Spas - The Must Do for 2006

Jen Leo, a veteran of the travel industry has a great blog, you should check it out. Good writing, pertinent information - what more could you want? Jen has a great blog article about the best spas of 2006. Much like the gay cruise, the spa is something I really don't know much about, but should explore.

Mobil just announced their favorite spas.
Mobil Travel Guide's 'Best of the Best' Spas 2006

I've only been to some of the ones in Vegas, way down on the four star list. There were only two Five Stars—
The Spa at the Mandarin Oriental New York, Spa Montage at Montage Resort in Laguna Beach

Isn't Mobil, the Mobil as in gas stations? I can't help but think of a filthy bathroom, some mechanic named Ned pumping your gas, and beef jerky for sale at the counter when I think of Mobil. But the road to upscale has to start somewhere. Check it out if being pampered and getting your elbows buffed is important.

Speaking of Spas, Conde Nast Traveller's May issue has published their list of 55 Top Spas. Wondering though - don't people go to spas for very short weekend trips sort of domestically mostly?
