Wednesday, November 15. 2006US Airways Proposes to Merge with DeltaAs the airline industry continues to shake itself up, which is a good thing, US Airways, long thought to be the worst airline, has proposed a potential merger with Delta.
US Airways and America West have already merged, bringing together two red-headed step children and now this. This one kind of makes sense though, with main hubs in Charlotte and Atlanta, US Airways and Delta, respectively, could potentially cut out many redundant routes and streamline costs. However, this merger will not be without controversy as it will challenge both American and United. MobiBlog will keep you updated on this event. Trackbacks
