Monday, March 19. 2007British Airways Gives Dead Passenger A Free Upgrade To First Class The body of a woman in her seventies, who died after the plane left Delhi for Heathrow, was carried by the cabin staff of British Airways from economy to first class, where there was more space. Her body was propped up in a seat, using pillows. The womans daughter spent the remainder of the 9 hour flight wailing in grief and trying to keep her dead mother from slipping out from under the seatbelt. Anyway, our condolences go out to that daughter and to the guy that woke up with a dead lady sitting at the end of his aisle.
