Woes for United States Travellers - Dollar Hits Lows Against Euro and Pound

A weak dollar is making it difficult for American travellers to visit the UK and Europe. The British Pound Sterlin is now more than double an American dollar as the Euro has hit a 2 year high.

The rise of both currencies makes Europe more expensive for U.S. visitors, but shopping trips to the United States more enticing for Europeans.

You can blame Bush fiscal policy or Chinese controlling the float of the US Dollar (through Treasury Bonds) but the dollar has seen better days. At least at Mobissimo you can save on your airfare.
